Alexis Ruiz
Director, Head of Coaching Operations
Alexis leads our coaching team, bringing her extensive club coaching experience and successful college career at LIU, where she captained her senior year for the DI program. Alexis recently took a position as a GA for Vermont State University, where her & her team earned conference coaching staff of the year. Alexis has been an integral part of the program where she is leading with respect, accountability and fun.
Fusine Govaert
Head of Training & Development
Originally from the Netherlands, and raised in NY, Fusine is a current USA national team member, training with the team to prepare for the LA Olympics. Prior to playing for Team USA, Fusine played for DI Boston College, where she was a 3 time All American, All-ACC, NFCHA All Northeast Region, and team captain. Fusine will be creating a training program & running live video trainings for our members.
Lana Mignon De Wet
Program Coach
Originally from South Africa, Lana is the current captain for DII Adelphi University. Lana is coming off a stand-out junior season, where she earned first team All American honors, NFHCA player of the year and the NE10 conference player of the year. Lana’s background playing internationally has been invaluable to the program for both our indoor and outdoor teams.
Juana Laskowski
Program Coach
Juana started her collegiate career at University of Maryland in College Park, where she stayed for one year before transferring to LIU, playing the last 23 seasons with the Sharks. Prior to university, Juana played club in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she is from. She earned Player of the Year honors 3 times while playing for Club Nautico Hacoaj. She moved to Club Ciudad de Buenos Aires and played in the team A D1 in the Metropolitatn Tournament of Buenos Aires. Juana also played in the Netherlands for Hockey Club of Amsterdam and in the US with Key Biscayne for 3 years, participating in the Disney Showcase and Winter Escape USA
Hayley Hayden
Head of Goalkeeper Training & Development
Hayley brings extensive experience as our new head of goalie training & development, working with goalie coaches and players across age groups. She recently finished her college career at DI Boston College, where the team won an at large bid to the DI NCAA Tournament. Prior to BC, Hayley played at DI UPenn. Originally from Northport, NY, Hayley was a 4x National Futures Championship selection, Sr. Nexus Championship and earned an invitation to the U21 National Team Selection Camp in 2023.
